An exceptional mahogany Billiard or Snooker cue stand of Country House proportions probably by "THE ORIGINAL Burroughes & Watts" of London circa 1860.
A revolving base sits on three concealed bun feet, a central reeded neo classical column is flanked by three smaller reeded uprights which are turn mounted on blocks and are connected to the upper tier via a tri-form section which is lined with sprung cue clips.
The upper tier allows for the storage of long cues and rests, and is complimented by a large decorative finial and three other smaller finials.
