This brass framed billiard lamp is an original period piece circa 1885, it is of elegant design and features eight hand made silk shades, the sweeping arched form is exceptionally rare, the shades are original to the lamp and are in good useable condition, replacements can be made.The lamp retains a beautiful patina, untouched since its installation in Hexton Park, it will however require a re-wire and this can be configured in either 220v for the UK and Europe or 110v for the USA. This is a classic English Country House billiard lamp , becoming increasingly hard to find in untouched original condition. Purchased from Hexton Manor Hertfordshire.
