A unique gothic revival form billiard table by Orme of Manchester circa 1860, solid oak construction with tracery decoration to the frame, the cushion edges embellished with stipple carving, supported by eight turned legs decorated with a stud collar and octagonal feet.Orme & Sons were one of the finest billiard snooker table manufacturers, they had branches in Liverpool, Manchester, London & Glasgow. Orme & Sons began trading in 1845 and received a Royal Warrant from Edward, Prince of Wales.
