This is an exceptionally rare 3/4-sized billiard table by Gillows we have never previously owned one of such an early example in this size.

We estimate the table to be circa 1790, though further research is ongoing.

The finely reeded legs and the elegant, flowing edging that seamlessly returns to the legs are truly exquisite.

The table is currently in the process of restoration, so available photos are limited. Once completed, the table’s colour  will be much brighter as we plan to carefully cut back the existing polish to reveal the stunning timber and patina beneath.
