An antique billiard snooker or pool table manufactured by George Wright of London circa 1880.Standing on six decorative gadrooned legs ,the legs and cushions with applied bosses, all supporting an original three piece slate bed.A small amount of restoration is required, this is included within the price.The cushion rubbers will be refurbished with NR Professional English rubbers and the cloth on the slate bed and cushions is Superior 'Strachan' English cloth as used by the World Snooker Association. George Wright founded his billiard table business in 1868, and records indicate the company was operating from 162/164 Westminster Bridge Road London,he achieved much success and won Gold medals at exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand in the early 1880's.
