A very well made 9ft x 4.5ft mahognay framed billiard or snooker table by THE ORIGINAL Burroughes & Watts of London circa 1890.
Standing on six turned faceted legs with applied decorative bosses to the cushions and leg blocks, supporting an original 4 piece slate bed.
The cushion rubbers will be refurbished with NR Professional English rubbers and the cloth on the slate bed and cushions is Superior 'Strachan' English cloth as used by the World Snooker Association.
Burroughes & Watts were founded in 1836 and were considered one of the top three billiard and snooker table manufacturers in the United Kingdom
The ceased trading in 1967.
