Antique Billiards Snooker Life Pool scoring cabinet
Antique Billiards Snooker Life Pool scoring cabinet
1117
A wonderfully crafted Billiard Snooker scoring cabinet in feathered mahogany probably by Burroughes & Watts of London, circa 1900.
A decorative fan shaped carved pediment of linen fold relief above revolving number bars and lettered sliding "Life Pool markers",with hidden boxwood and inlaid ebony stars.
Patrae mouldings and fluted columns flank the central chalk board and add to the "Classical" feel of this astonishing scorer.
Two exquisite gadrooned bone markers compliment the revolving ratchets which rotate in segments of twenty , allowing a total score of 100 points per player.
