A mahogany antique billiard or snooker table by Thurston of London, circa 1840, standing on eight elegant turned and gadrooned legs with applied bosses to the blocks and cushions.
The design is reminiscent of Gillows, the timber is a superb cut of mahogany and the colour is outstanding, a true Country House billiard table
The table has been sympathetically refurbished by hand, we have replaced the perished cushion rubbers with new NR English rubber, and the cloth has been upgraded with new 'Strachan' 6811 English wool cloth.
