Antique Billiard Snooker table Frank Brangwyn
This exceptionally rare antique billiard table was probably designed by Frank Brangwyn circa 1915, it very similar to the one he designed for a billiard room in 1902 which is illustrated in Herbert Furst's book, the Decorative Art of Brangwyn, London 1924.
The table is solid oak and is English Country House size of 12ft x 6ft
there are decorative moldings to the legs and cushion edges.
We have attached some images from reference books showing a very similar table made to Frank Brangwyn's design there is a clear alignment of form and elegance.
Sir Frank William Brangwyn RA RWS RBA (12 May 1867 – 11 June 1956) was an Anglo-Welsh artist, painter, water colorist, virtuoso engraver and illustrator, and progressive designer.
