A Victorian mahogany cased billiards or snooker scorer, circa 1860 by John Thurston of London with two hand-lettered revolving cylindrical.
Rollers, each having a designated pointer, retaining the original makers transfer.

John Thurston (1777-1850) was an apprentice cabinetmaker at Gillows of Lancaster and London, in 1799 he established his own company and specialized in billiard tables and associated billiard room furniture.
